ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT (ISO 14000)

  • Identification and documentation of the legislative and regulatory status of the Organization’s / Enterprise’s function and activities, regarding the environment.
  • Preliminary inspection of the Organization’s / Enterprise’s field of activities , in order to identify all the environmental aspects and determine those having considerable effects on the environment (raw materials, gas emissions, liquid and solid wastes, etc.).
  • Conduction of a diagnostic analysis and suggestion of appropriate corrective actions.
  • Strategic planning of the Environmental Management System.
  • Development of a suitable scheme for the required documentation (procedures, instructions, Environmental Management Manual, etc.), taking into account the outcomes of the Initial Environmental Review and the requirements posed by the Standard ISO 14001 or the EMAS Regulation.
  • Integration of related Environmental and the Quality Management procedures (if a Quality Management System is implemented).
  • Assistance to the competent personnel for the establishment of the Environmental Management System.
  • Assistance for the formulation of Environmental Management Programmes (which determine the Organization’s / Enterprise’s environmental objectives and targets).
  • Performance of internal audits and detection of non-conformity points.
  • Suggestion of corrective actions related to the Environmental Management System.
  • Training of personnel.
  • Post-certification internal audits, in order to assure appropriate maintenance and continual improvement of the Environmental Management System.
